C4ISR Symposium 18-21 May, 2010 Presented by AFCEA San Diego

The program will include speakers and panelists from Government and Industry on May 18th and 19th, a classified program at SPAWAR System Center Pacific on May 20th, and a golf tournament on May 21st.

Our program is designed to stimulate thought and collaboration among Government and Industry (Technology Leaders from Government/DoD, Major Utilities, Public Service, Personal Service Firms, and Large Government Contractors) of which will provoke new ideas and provide opportunities to improve existing "Tools and Technologies" to answer the challenge of threats; both natural and acts of aggression. Topics will include Cyber Security, Disaster Preparedness, and Disaster Recovery. Collaborative sessions will be formulated to discuss issues and panelists will share knowledge and information to spawn and develop new ideas and opportunities. This collaborative forum will also encourage teamwork to ensure effective coordination of responsibilities and capabilities, while providing a platform to stimulate and secure economic growth and enable a renewed sense of peace and security for our families and local community. The 2010 Navy Gold Coast Small Business Opportunity Conference will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on August 17 & 18. This year’s conference is co-hosted by the Navy, Marine Corps I&L and Marine Corps System command, Naval Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) and National Defense Industrial Association, San Diego Chapter (NDIA). The purpose of this conference is to inform industry about upcoming contracting opportunities and to provide educational workshops on doing business with the Navy and Marine Corps. Any business, large or small, who currently does or would like to do business with the Navy and Marine Corps, should attend this event.
