Committees

The San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association is dedicated to providing forums for the interaction between the government defense industry and the San Diego community. The Committees that are sponsored by NDIA-SD are the primary vehicle to achieve this goal.

STEM Committee

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education committee has the charter to address the growing concern of the shortage of STEM-educated candidates in our society.
Small Business Committee
Navy Gold Coast

The purpose of Gold Coast is to provide a forum to educate, guide, and assist businesses, especially small businesses, in working with the government, primarily the Department of Defense. Attendance is not restricted to those who do business directly with the government, but open to all relevant businesses.
NNFE

The Naval NETWAR FORCEnet Enterprise and Industry Committee's signature event is the annual NNFE Industry Conference formerly known as the "SPAWAR Industry Conference."  This conference is hosted by the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I) and the Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM).  This series of conferences which began in 1995 has grown to be one of the major West Coast symposiums for discussing the joint C4I and Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) issues that face the warfighter.
